Essenze Live
The Italian songwriting in trio: voice, piano and cello.
Voice · piano · cello
The live project
Essenze Live revisits Italian songwriter classics through vocals, piano and cello. Songs by Dalla, Fossati, Battiato and others inspire pared-back arrangements that keep the words at their heart, while the three voices bridge classical sensibility and contemporary expression.
The project brings together three musicians with complementary careers. Veronica Creo has featured in tours dedicated to Laura Pausini, collaborated with her live and on video, and appeared in many television productions. Bruno Redivo is a pianist, composer and arranger who graduated with honours. Cellist Marco Pescosolido has worked extensively with Edoardo Bennato, Enzo Avitabile, Lucio Dalla, Claudio Baglioni and Lazza, as well as in film and television.
An intimate but authoritative concert, designed for theatres, festivals, auditoriums and cultural events, with a repertoire that includes La canzone di Marinella, La cura, Anna e Marco and A mano a mano.
